Most of the people who use windows as their operating system know about a game known as minesweeper. This game is present in all windows versions available in the market. Feel free to check out Kazino Ekstra’s article about cashterminal here.

Different up gradations come in different versions but the game always comes as a bundle with Microsoft windows.

This is a very funny game by Microsoft and it increases one’s patience too.

This is not a two player game and very easy to play. The main objective of the game is to find all the mines in the field. Since it involves fast math calculations, it tends to sharpen our calculation speed too.

At the start of the game, a player sees a matrix of gray blocks on the screen. The size of the matrix box depends on the selected level of play. Once, a player clicks on a block that has no mine, it shows the number that is behind it. The number shows the total number of mines around a particular block on the grid.

As we can see, certain blocks on the grid can have a maximum of eight mines around them. These eight blocks are supposed to surround the specific block concerned. If a block has the number five written on it, it means that there are five mines around that particular block that are undisturbed. The player will then click on the next most likely block which cannot have a mine under any circumstances. This requires a more sharp calculation because certain blocks are present next to many similar blocks and it becomes confusing as the game progresses.

A person can also use a flag to mark certain blocks that he / she suspects are mines.

This feature is here for the convenience of players. It becomes easier to mark certain blocks as mine and keep exploring other blocks as it provides mine count and helps in further calculation of other blocks on the grid.

Sometimes, clicking on a specific block in the grid opens multiple blocks together in shape. This makes gameplay easier and provides an idea of where mines can be in blocks just adjacent to the shape being opened.

This game is based on patterns and if a player understands the patterns, it is very easy for him to finish the game.
